On 6 Nov, I ate.

Breakfast:
Coffee with Splenda
Date & coconut rolls cut in thirds with an almond pressed into each
Blueberries
Egg

Snack:
Granny smith apple
Banana

Lunch:
Tuna salad: lettuce, grape tomatoes, onion, olive oil

Snack:
Baked Apples

Popped an Altoid® on the way to Quest Lab (contains sugar).

Dinner:
Haddock in olive oil
Acorn squash
Cauliflower

After-dinner:
Peppermint tea

Baked Apples

Ingredients:
2 apples
Walnuts
Cinnamon
Honey
¼ cup water

Method:
Heat oven to 350°
Slice and trim apples (peel if you prefer)
Place skins down in small oven-proof casserole dish
Barely cover with walnuts
Dust with cinnamon
Pour water into bottom of dish
Bake for 30 minutes
Drizzle with honey

Before I realized I was sinking into GI Wonderland, ibuprofen was a constant and dear friend. I was popping 800mg-a-day for at least 3-5 days each monthly cycle. I understand that Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) are outlawed for SCD; my doctor advised me to cease immediately.
