Syonara, Soymilk.

When I omitted corn syrup-containing Coffeemate Crème Brulée back in September – ah, so divine, yet so instantly, gastrically distressing! – I saw a great and immediate improvement to my morning continence. Today, I skipped the soymilk. Gut reaction: “this isn’t very good.” I refer to the taste of black coffee with Splenda®, not its effect on me. That's an improvement.

If you can drink soymilk, drink Silk®. not only is it the best I've tried, but White Wave Foods supports NPR; that, to me, makes them worth supporting.

I.S.O. Legal Yogurt.

My doctor encourages any brand of yogurt for me at this point, as long as there is no added sugar. SCD Web sites say only home-made yogurt is acceptable. I bought some Dannon Light 'n Fit™ Strawberry and some Weight Watchers® Lemon Cream Pie this morning. Who the heck has time to make yogurt? If I have to go strictly SCD, I will find an alternative.
